Frederico Fialho Teixeira

Frederico Fialho Teixeira pursued for his PhD degree the research focus in the area of Visual and Spatial Arts. His studies fall into the area of Biological Dimensions of Evolutionary Machines. In this field of research, he explored systems with emergent/evergent spatial characteristics able to embody multi-dimensional properties. This processes were established through elemental modularities which carry multiple algorithmic stratums. These machines develop within ubiquitous ecologies instigating multiple behaviors - both physical and virtual - and functioning immanently towards the evolution of a multi-dimensional space.
He holds a BArch in Architecture and Urbanism, a MA in History of Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture University of Porto, and recently a MArch from the Design Research Lab at the Architectural Association School of Architecture. He worked at architectural offices, including Alvaro Siza Vieira Architects, and Zaha Hadid Architects and he is the co-founder of [f]Flat research group.
Currently he works as a Lecturer at Istanbul Technical University, architectual department.
